Jason Kloster - Trainer / Community Outreach
Where are you
from? I grew up on a hop
farm outside of Yakima, WA. Growing up I loved being in the mountains and
playing sports. I’ve mainly lived on the Westside ever since graduating HS. I’ve
made a couple different stops along the way including West Seattle, Ballard, San
Jose, CA and then Bellingham, WA for two years after graduating from WWU.
Currently lives in Kirkland with his adventuress and loving wife Kim.
Why is strength training important to you? I love feeling strong and knowing my body will be able to keep up with my grandchildren when I’m 80+ years old. It’s a way of life and I know I’m investing in my health and well-being for the long run. Strength training transfers over to everyday life situations whether I’m caring groceries or snow skiing down steep terrain. On days that I don’t want to work out, I remind myself “If you do what is easy, life will be hard, if you do what is hard, your life will be easy.” That does not mean that strength training is always hard. To me, it means that investing in my health and mind today, will make tomorrow easier.
What are your hobbies? Include flying, anything outdoors, photography, snow skiing, kayaking, BBQ's and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Pacific Northwest.
Education: B.S: Business Administration, Western Washington University | A.A.S: Aeronautical Technology, SSCC. | Commercial Pilot Rating | L1 Crossfit & NASM Certified
